We are recruiting a for an Accounting Assistant
This is a great opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a leading City based technology business who specialise in targeting gadget, technology, entertainment and business enthusiasts through a unique online advertising network.
Working alongside the Company Accountant you will provide essential Accounts Administration, Petty Cash, Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger duties utilising Sage Line 50. Envisaging between 2-3 days per week worth of work you will play an important role within a small finance team. Joining a busy yet flexible working environment your day-to-day duties will be based around the following:
Sales Ledger
Use Sage Line 50 to process and check sales orders, remittance advices and invoices.
Prepare monthly end debtor statement and send these to customers.
Chase outstanding debtors and deal with any sales invoice enquires.
Purchase Ledger
Use Sage Line 50 to raise purchase orders, check invoices, manage expenses and post payments.
Conduct creditor ledger reconciliation and manage the necessary payment schedules.
Prepare and authorise cheque payments on approved items.
Petty Cash
Check petty cash with supporting documents.
Post petty cash expenditure onto Sage and reconcile to float.
To qualify your CV must demonstrate prior commercial experience occupying a role that covers the above duties,
this could have been as an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant or equivalent. You must also possess an indepth
knowledge of Sage.
