Based in Farringdon, the City we are seeking a bright, intelligent and highly literate technology Graduate who can undertake a combined roll which will include IT Support, Online Editorial and Technical Development activities. This opportunity will see you build your career within one of the UK's leading advertising/publishing networks who target the Technology, Lifestyle and Entertainment sectors.
Joining a vibrant technology company it will be your responsibility to maintain the internal IT network (20 users) whilst testing, reviewing and writing concise and insightful technology reviews that will get featured across a series of highly acclaimed news and reviews web sites. This role is perfect for a tech savvy graduate looking for a career in the world of journalism.
The roll is an open ended roll, where you will be provided with training in your first 3 months and will have paths open to you in either in the Editorial or Development department.
Expect a multifaceted role that will encompass the following:
Network Administration (backups, network security, internet, application support, telephones etc).
Supporting, maintaining and installing company hardware and software.
Managing the Google Apps domain (user accounts, E-Mail system, Google apps etc).
Writing insightful technology reviews.
Editing, moderating and posting internal and external content.
Promoting websites and associated content through Social Media.
Work with the Development and Design team
To qualify, we are seeking a Technology/IT Graduate who can combine solid IT Support skills (including: Windows 7 / XP, remote access, network administration, hardware and software support) with excellent written and spoken English and ideally previous exposure to content editing.
