Recruiting: Office Assistant (POSITION FILLED)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a rapidly growing media company based in SE1. Working closely with the Office Manager and CEO, you will ensure the smooth running of the office on a daily basis.

 

Duties will include:

 

Supporting the staff where possible

Sorting post and arranging couriers as necessary

Undertaking any other tasks / duties as may be reasonably required

Answering the main telephone and redirecting / screening calls where required

Ensuring stationary supplies are well stocked

Ensuring the kitchen is clean and well stocked with refreshments / cleaning products

Ensuring that all office documents are organised both on the server and in print

Working with the IT Consultant and tech staff to ensure a smooth IT infrastructure

Working with Inclarity to ensure a trouble-free telephone infrastructure

Managing the cleaner and ensure the whole office is kept clean

Managing building / office maintenance to ensure that the office is in good order and is a friendly and comfortable environment to work in

Meet and greet visitors and direct them to the meeting room / ensure they have refreshments

Compiling contact lists



In Addition, you will work with the Office Manager to:

 

Organise staff reviews and keep a record of all staff related communications

Ensure health and safety and other related issues are up to date

Ensure that interns / apprentices and work experience staff are kept busy

Manage the administration of any major company changes (such as an office move)

Manage lease and landlord, book meetings, organise travel 



Required Skills

 

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent communication - written and oral 

Organisation, integrity and reliability

Excellent attention to detail

Report writing and record keeping

• Confident and immaculately presented
