For some time, I've been voicing an opinion that Google may already or will start to include site speed into its indexing algorithm. A recent interview with Matt Cutts, a Senior Engineer at Google now proves this to be true. So if your site is running slow and/or has bad code, Google's new indexing system will not look favourably on your site.... So in the words of Tom Cruise in Top Gun: "I feel a need... a need for speed!"
