Ideal Day Out Takes Customer Engagement to a new level

The IdealDayOut.com campaign for Sony Ericsson takes customer engagement to a new level by fusing together a fun competition web site, brand messaging, product messaging, viral marketing and traffic drivers from the Net Communities network of 300+ sites.
The site was devised, designed and built by Net Communities on behalf of Sony Ericsson via its agency MEC in order to drive product and brand messaging for the new X10 Xperia Android Mobile Phone. The phone introduces a unique social media feature called Timescape, which was heavily promoted through this campaign by associating the phone with fun social media / viral elements, using Facebook and Twitter connect to help drive friends of entrants back to the site.
