I have been musing and writing about technology since 1999 back in my native country, Mauritius, dreaming of a world full of avatars, virtual reality and how the Millennium Bug would change the world.
After completing a degree in Social Studies, I threw caution to the wind and embraced my inner geek. I hosted a tech talk show for a national radio and wrote for a number of technology websites & magazines.
I have been called "a writer lost in IT" and enjoyed being the "only tech journo in the village" for a while. I joined Net Communities as Content Editor for ITProPortal.com back in October 2005, transforming it into one of the biggest independent technology websites in the UK.
I now manage an extensive team of editors, freelancers, writers and contributors.
